Toka is famous for being self fertile, so only one tree is required for fruiting. Adding a wild plum in close proximity will increase yields on the Toka.

Toka is also often used to pollinate other hybrid plum trees. 

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Toka is a cross between a North American wild plum and a Japanese plum. The purple-red fruit are very high quality and exceptionally aromatic. Enjoy the fruit for fresh eating. 

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2025 (close to planting out time). This tree is spring nursery stock and will be between 5 - 6' tall at time of pick up. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details).

No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 1, 2025, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May. Sage Garden reserves the right to make an appropriate substitution in the event of crop shortages.
