And, the first Wednesday of the month is Member's Appreciation Day*... with 20% off most items in store! *see full calendar year of Member's Days, as there are some that do not fall on Tuesdays, due to changes in seasonal hours
- Memberships are transferable between a maximum of two people who share a common address (identified at the time of original purchase or renewal).
- Memberships are non-transferable between shoppers who do not share a common address.
- Memberships are valid for online retail purchases (with a few exceptions - see below)

The Sage Garden Member's discount covers virtually all that we offer in-store but there are a few items we are not able to include in this discount program:
- Bulk items, such as live plant plug trays, pallet & 1/2 pallet pricing on soils and amendments, OMRI organic compressed peat bales, 50lb bags of Eco-Lawn, and any items purchased as a special order
- Items purchased at wholesale or community group pricing cannot be combined with a SGH Member's card discount
- The purchase of gift cards is not included in the discount program (although Members receive the discount when redeeming gift certificates)
- Services, such as garden design, maintenance, and installation
Items not included in the "First Wednesday of the Month" 20% deal:
- Consignment items (local pottery, jewellery, art, and honey); maximum discount is 10%
- Items sold at 5+ pricing; for example 5+ pricing in Sea Soil or Black Gold (although the 20% discount does apply to any quantity of these items based on the regular unit price)
- Items that are offered as "pre-order", i.e. that are not in stock on Member's Day; for example, seed garlic, rare plant releases, garlic, etc.
- Corn Gluten; maximum discount is 10%
- Workshops; maximum discount is 10%
- We are not able to offer rain checks on out of stock items on Member's Day
