May 15, 2021:
We are here to serve you SAFELY.
Sage is now open for onsite shopping, with the 10% retail capacity limit. Our capacity limit is 9. In order to be open, we are required to follow the letter and spirit of public health orders. The following protocols are in place:
~ Masks covering the mouth and nose are required at all times, indoors and out, no exceptions
~ One person her vehicle can shop at a time
~ We know this is hard, but at the moment, children are not able to accompany parents - we just don't have the capacity for groups
~ Only two shoppers inside the greenhouse at a time (seeds, fertilizers, books & houseplants)
~ Most of our plants are currently displayed in our easy-to-shop outdoor area (herbs, annuals, perennials, grasses, wildflowers, small fruit, orchard and landscape plants)
~ What is out on display today is what is available today... which is tons of awesome stuff!
~ No public washrooms at this time
~ Payments are cashless (debit/credit/gift card/CSA points)
Safe planting out date for Winnipeg is June 1.
Retail & Curbside Hours:
Tuesday to Friday ~ 12 - 8
Saturday ~ 10 - 6
Sunday ~ 11 - 5
(Mondays reserved for order prep and greenhouse work - no public hours)
Online ordering available 24/7.
Please note that masks are required by all visitors to Sage Garden indoors and outdoors, physical distancing of 6 feet must be maintained between shoppers and shoppers and Sage Garden staff, and that interactions need to be kept more brief than they would normally be. Public washrooms are not currently available. Debit, credit, gift cards and CSA credits accepted as payment (no cash). Curbside pickup continues to be an excellent, contactless option available to all customers.
We also have active Facebook, Instagram and blog pages to help with timely gardening questions. And don't miss Dave's podcast: The Grow Guide (available free on iTunes and all major podcast platforms).
