This Japanese-group plum requires specific companion trees within 200 feet for pollination. The best options are nanking Cherry, Toka Plum and Canadian Wild Plum.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Develop in Alberta and exceptionally well suited to cold climates, Brookgold plum produces masses of deep-golden fruit in later summer. The fruit are large and have thin skins, making them perfect for fresh eating and for canning. 

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2025 (close to planting out time). This tree is spring nursery stock and will be between 5 - 6' tall at time of pick up. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details).

No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 1, 2025, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May. Sage Garden reserves the right to make an appropriate substitution in the event of crop shortages.
