Beta is a famously winter-hardy cross between a wild Manitoba grape and a concord grape. The abundant fruit are typically used for jellies, juice and wine (and fresh eating too, for those who love a more tart experience). Popular as a privacy screen along fences, arbours and patios.

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2026 (close to planting out time). This is potted spring nursery stock established in a 1-gallon pot. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details).

No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 15, 2026, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May.
