More than one plant is required for cross pollination. This could be more than one Nanking, or a Nanking plus an early flowering plum such as Brookgold.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Not only is this orchard plant a showy spring-flowering landscape plant, it produces a bounty of sour cherries! The fruit can be eaten fresh... with some pucker... and also beloved as jam, juice and wine. 

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2026 (close to planting out time). This is potted spring nursery stock established in a 1-gallon pot. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details).

No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 15, 2026, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May.
