KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Low bush blueberries are the way to go in zone 3, and Polaris is a tasty selection that ripens in home gardens in early summer! Although called "self-fertile", in fact yields will be disappointing unless planted with a companion blueberry (needs to be a different variety). Blueberries also REQUIRE an acidic soil, so the planting site must be amended with raw peat moss and/or gardener's sulfur each season (true for most gardeners in our area - but testing your soil will help determine this).  

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2024 (close to planting out time). This plant is spring nursery stock offered in a 1-gallon pot. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details). No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 1, 2024, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May. Sage Garden reserves the right to make an appropriate substitution in the event of crop shortages.
