KEY ATTRIBUTES:

An heirloom originally developed at the University of Minnesota in the 1940s, Golden Spice is an exceptional variety for prairie orchards. The fruit is choice for fresh eating, preserving and baking. Harvest is in late summer through September. 

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS:

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2026 (close to planting out time). This is potted spring nursery stock established in a 5-gallon pot, and will be between 5 and 6 feet tall. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details).

No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 15, 2026, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May.
