A second plant is require to pollinate the Cherry Plum. An ideal pollinator is a Wild Plum, but Western Sandcherry is effective as well. 

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

This is a really cool orchard plant! It is a cross between a Japanese Plum and Western Sandcherry, producing a compact tree with delicious fruit! The plums are red-purple on the outside, juicy and sweet. Ideal for fresh eating. 

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2026 (close to planting out time). This is potted spring nursery stock established in a 1-gallon pot. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details).

No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 15, 2026, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May.
