Saskatoon berries are self fertile, so only one tree is required, but yields and quality go up if another type is planted near by

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Thiessen Saskatoon is famous for its large, tasty berries! The plant itself is full and dense, with loads of showy white flowers in early spring. As Saskatoon bushes can flower quite early, it helps to plant them in a slightly sheltered location, reducing the chances of late frosts damaging the crop.
