Self pollinating, but yields are always higher when planted with another apricot from the Manchurian group, or a Nanking Cherry. 

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Casino apricot trees are famously very hardy... and of course tasty and productive! The biggest challenge for apricots planted on the prairies is that they flower early, so late frosts can wipe out the pollinated flowers. To reduce the chances of this happening, plant apricots on a west or north exposure (where it is open and sunny), which delays flowering in spring and improves the likelihood of a bumper crop. 

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2024 (close to planting out time). This tree is spring nursery stock and between 5 - 6' tall. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details). No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 1, 2024, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May. Sage Garden reserves the right to make an appropriate substitution in the event of crop shortages.
