Apples require another apple or crabapple with in approximately 500 feet. In urban settings, there are typically trees close enough that you do not need a second tree in your own yard.

 KEY ATTRIBUTES:

Honeycrisp apples were developed in Minnesota during the 1970s and became available as a stable in grocery stores in the early 2000s. The Honeycrisp has a famously crisp texture and excellent sweet/tart balance. As popular as Honeycrisp is at market, it is even better when home-grown as the flavour diminishes with prolonged storage. Grafted onto to fully hardy rootstock for zone 3. 

 PRE-ORDER DETAILS

This item will be available for local pick-up in late May 2026 (close to planting out time). This tree is potted spring nursery stock and will be between 5 - 6' tall at time of pick-up. Trees and shrubs are warrantied for 1 year from date of pick-up, provided they are planted after June 1, and watered/cared for as required (see refund policy for full details).

No changes or cancellations to orchard plant pre-orders after March 15, 2026, and orders must be picked-up within 14 days of "pick-up" notification being sent in late May.
