Description: Paprika falls just in between the classification of hot and sweet pepper, with a ton of flavour and just the slightest hint of spiciness. The Alma variety is very well know as a productive and reliable producer of blocky fruit ranging from yellow-orange to light red when mature. This is an ideal Hungarian variety for drying and grinding into paprika powder. Don't be shy to use these fresh as well!

Fertilizing (Containers): Feed with an organic veggie fertilizer through season.
Watering (Containers): Water containers deeply when top inch feels dry to the touch. Monitor every day or two during very hot weather.
Growing in Mixed Planters: Well-suited for larger mixed planters. Think square foot gardening!
Fertilizing (Garden): Plant in a garden recently amended with compost. Application of Kelp fertilizer is beneficial.
Watering (Garden): Water to establish (first two weeks). Once establlished, water weekly to maximize productivity.
Suitability for Indoors: Not well-suited for indoors - may be grown as a specialized crop.
Exposure: Grow lights required for success indoors.
