Let's keep the plant adventures going!!

Our first fall field trip is to the outdoor gardens at The Leaf, on Monday, September 22 at 6:00 pm. The walk will include the six outdoor gardens surrounding The Leaf, all of which tell a story of how people connect with plants and how they bring meaning to our lives. Our guide, Bonnie Tulloch, will lead us on a relaxed stroll through the gardens where we will learn the stories of each theme; the Indigenous Peoples Garden, Kitchen Garden, Sensory Garden, Performance Garden, Johnston Family Seasonal Garden, and The Grove. This is a very cool opportunity to get a private tour of these amazing gardens!!

The Leaf is located in Assiniboine Park (Winnipeg). There is ample free parking available on site. 

There is an $18 + GST fee for this event, 100% of which goes to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy for hosting us. Pre-registration is required and there is a maximum group size of 15. 

Event Details

• The tour costs $18 plus GST. There is no Member's discount available, as we are charging exactly the cost of booking this with folks at The Leaf. 
• We will meet at the GARDENS at The Leaf at 5:50 pm. 
• The tour is about 90 minutes, outdoors and will involve walking throughout the gardens
• This is an outdoor activity. Please bring water, mosquito repellant and any other items to facilitate being outdoors on a fall evening.
• In the event of adverse weather, we will notify everyone by email of any change of plans no later than 3:00 pm on the day of the event
