Let's keep the plant adventures going!!

Our second fall field trip is to the biomes inside The Leaf, on Monday, October 20 at 6:00 pm. This tour is a guided walk through the The Leaf where will be immersed in a vibrant and soul-warming display of colour, texture, and fragrance as we learn about the numerous exotic plants and their stories. The tour will travel through four distinct biomes; the Hartley and Heather Richardson Tropical Biome, Mediterranean Biome, Shirley Richardson Butterfly Garden, and the seasonally changed Babs Asper Display House. 

It is not everyday you get to have the folks who care for the plants inside one of Canada's premiere botanical gardens give you a private tour!

The Leaf is located in Assiniboine Park (Winnipeg). There is ample free parking available on site. 

There is an $27.50 + GST fee for this event, 100% of which goes to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy for hosting us. Pre-registration is required and there is a maximum group size of 15. The entrance fee to The Leaf is included in the tour price. 

Event Details

• The tour costs $27.50 plus GST. There is no Member's discount available, as we are charging exactly the cost of booking this with folks at The Leaf. 
• We will meet inside the FOYER at The Leaf building at 5:50 pm. 
• The tour is about 90 minutes
• This is an indoor activity and we will be walking throughout the conservatory buildings that make up The Leaf
