Description: This prairie native grass has a deeply grounding, earthy aroma once dried. The blades are often braided, dried and used for ceremonial smudging in First Nation healing traditions. Native bees and butterflies seek out the nectar from sweet grass flowers. 

Easy to grow in sunny damp spots, but also average garden beds where the sweet grass can be given room to spread. Very winter hardy, even in half barrels and raised beds.
