Description: This is a hot, hot pepper! Ring-O-Fire matures earlier than other Cayenne types and has a glossy sheen with a fire-engine-red colour. Prolific and dependable. Peppers average 4” long.

Germination: 14 days at 21 - 25° C.

Sowing: Sow a minimum of 10 - 12 weeks before the planting out date. Bottom heat improves germination rates and times. If growing indoors under lights, sow anytime. For best results, apply Sea Magic™ kelp from the first watering. Apply a seedling-starter fertilizer such as Evolve Seedling once the second set of true leaves has appeared, and then alternate between the kelp and seedling starter until transplant.

Planting depth: Lightly covered.

Planting in the garden: Wait to transplant outdoors until the soil is warm (on average between June 1-7, in southern MB).

Space: 12” to 24” apart.
Container planting: Minimum 6” container per plant.

Growing in Containers: Well-suited to larger pots (minimum 6-8 inches).
