Slow down. Relax. Embrace the living aromatherapy benefits of lavender…
Lavender is one of the most evocative herbs you can grow, inspiring feelings of relaxation and rustic Provençal charm. Whether in pots, raised beds, or in-ground, you can enjoy lavender in your own zone 3 space, and this class will get you there! Your instructor, Dave, will cover the many types of lavender, how to select the best varieties for your specific growing space, and how to effectively propagate and grow these for 2026. Although most types of lavender are not winter hardy in our climate… but this class will help you identify the few true options and best practices to facilitate hardy lavender.
This is a hands-on class, and all participants will start three types of lavender from seed and two types of lavender from stem cuttings. All seeds, cuttings, organic soil and starter containers are included.
