The best things about this plant are... the friendly round leaves and the tendency for Pilea to evolve into an upright, architectural plant
Details: Pilea peperomioides aka Chinese Money Plant is famous for its association with the Scandinavian design aesthetic and its cooperative nature as a houseplant. The plant can grow happily in pots 4" and up, and thrives in bright but not scorching sun conditions. Water when the big, round leaves just start to droop - often about once per week. Pilea love to be well fed so we recommend using an organic all-purpose plant food year-round (the general rule of thumb is half-strength, half as often in winter).
Pilea is good at making baby plants, and is often called the "pass it along plant" as it is something you can share with a friend!
