This design is a replica of the dragon penanular pin from the St Ninian's hoard, which was discovered in July 1958 in an excavation in a medieval church. The St Ninian's treasure hoard can currently be seen in the Museum of Scotland (Edinburgh). Replicas are displayed by the Shetland Museum.

Designed and cast in lead free pewter in Scotland.

This pendant measures 29mm x 36mm and weighs 18g. It is strung on a black waxed cotton cord.
