Create a piece of wearable art!

Learn the art of patterned flower dyeing using local dye flowers on a 12" x 60" habotai silk scarf. In this workshop, you'll learn what flowers work best for botanical dyes, how to prepare the fabric to take the dye, and create a finished piece by placing dried flowers in the design of your choice onto the fabric, rolling it onto rollers, and steaming. The class will wrap up with details on how to care for your scarf to ensure the colours remain brilliant for years to come.
