Monstera adansonii - Live Plant
This variant is currently sold out
The best things about this plant are... the dramatic natural cutouts that turn the leaves into Swiss Cheese!
Details: Monstera adansonii aka Swiss Cheese Vine is a classic houseplant that can be grown in hanging pots, on totems or just allowed to wander! Each leaf on the plant has bold cut-outs (fenestration), one of the awesome and unique features on several species of Monstera and Philodendron.
Monstera adansonii prefers a location away from excessive direct sunlight, although it does require a bright location diffused-light location to be at its best. As with all potted plants, we strongly recommend potting into containers with excellent drainage, compost-based potting soil and fertilizing several times per year with all-purpose organic plant food. Foliage plants benefit from regular showering with fast-flowing freshwater... literally, take them for a shower every month or so! Showering removes dust and helps ensure pest-free growth indoors.
We have both traditional and wide or round leaf forms, and two sizes of the classic adansonii.
