Description: Hydrangeas are un-abashedly gorgeous, featuring large panicles of romantic-looking blooms! Modern cold-climate hydrangeas are very reliable, both for winter survival and the ability to put on a bloom-filled show. 

"Bloomstruck" is the type of hydrangea often grown with colour-shifting flowers: the more acidic the soil (or soil amendments) the more blue the blooms while in alkaline clay the flowers are vivid pink. Gardeners also enjoy the compact, dense style of "Bloomstruck" hydrangea.
