Botanical Name: Punica granatum

Description: A gorgeous fruiting container plant with super showy orange-coral flowers in summer and fall followed by 2" edible fruit. Easy for bonsai.

Pomegranates are deciduous, and typically lose most of their leaves for winter during which time they rest. After leaves have fallen off, keep the plants near a natural light source and water every few weeks; once they are ready, they will put on new growth. Developing fruit often remain on the plant even after leaves have dropped... leaves tese on for ripening in spring!

We've eaten the tasty fruits off our Winnipeg-grown plants (Images show examples of fruit on our mother plant)!
