Description: A sophisticated and demure colour scheme is the main feature of this corn poppy. Smoky-grey, crepe-paper petals with hints of other shades make for an artistic display unlike any other in the garden. A Sir Cedric Morris poppy, developed in the 1940's.
Pack size: ~ 150 seeds
Germination: 7 - 21 days
Seed Source: Organically grown
Planting Depth: Barely covered
Direct seed once the soil can be worked. Poppy seeds require cool outdoor temps to germinate.
Sprinkle seeds lightly along rows. Space rows 30 cm (1'). Thin seedlings to 15 cm (6") apart.
If the soil is heavy clay, amend it with compost prior to seeding. Mix seed with sand to facilitate even spreading. Lightly tamp the seed to keep it in place.
