Description: A distinctive mix developed by Welsh painter and horticulturist Cedric Morris. Painterly colours adorn this mix, which includes smoky plum, cocoa dust, pewter, apricot and white. Many blooms even have colourful pollen!

Artwork by Jean Bradbury. For our Mother of Pearl Poppy pack, artist Jean Bradbury has created one of her trademark "dreamscapes." A cosmic array of pink and mauve blooms float through a surreal evening ether with a contrasting shock of poppy red.

Plant height: 60 - 90 cm (24 - 36")

These may be direct-seeded into the early spring garden, as soon as the soil can be lightly worked but while temperatures are still cool. Surface sow or gently press into the soil. Sprinkle a little moistened compost or light soil over the area to help the seeds stay in place.
