One of our favourite locally produced products! We have certified organic wheat straw that is lightly processed to remove most dust and seeds and to gently break open the fibres (which makes this straw even better for soil building if left on at the end of the season).

Important: This batch of Garden Straw has been independently tested for pesticide/herbicide residue and contains no detectable levels of either. However, the current stock is not certified organic. 

Please Note: Due to the bulkiness of this product, Garden Straw is available for local pick-up only. In addition, vendor price changes introduced in 2021 have meant that we are no longer able to offer Member's discount or pallet pricing on this product.

Wheat straw is perfect for mulching your garlic, flower bulbs, perennials and adding organic material to improve your garden soil. In spring, this is an ideal mulch for vegetable gardens. This product has been third-party verified as containing no detectable levels of herbicide or pesticide residue.

Coverage: One 3 cubic feet bag (85 L) covers between 40 and 100 square feet of garden, depending on the mulching depth.
