OHIO BUCKEYE
2-gallon (currently around 4' tall)
Zone 2b
Mature Height & Width: 25' x 20'
Full sun to part sun
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
The Ohio Buckeye offers gardeners a unique look in the landscape! The large, palmate leaves are green through the spring and summer then turn a bold orange in fall. In mid-spring, showy clusters of soft yellow flowers entice pollinators and are a great talking point... looking so different from most flowering trees hardy to our area.
Ohio buckeye is related to Horse Chestnuts, and produces similar fruit with spikes - these are not edible but can be popular with squirrels who love to plant them around the yard.
