Date: Saturday, February 3; 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Host: Maggie Wysocki, From Soil to Soul & the Grow Guide podcast
Details: Can you imagine harvesting pounds of incredible, fresh ginger and turmeric... right from your prairie garden or balcony... Maggie is here to show you how! As a cool bonus, we will be sending everyone home with some ginger and turmeric starts.
Registration: Winter Garden Club workshops require registration, to ensure we have comfortable space for attendees (see details above). The capacity limit for these classes is twenty people. Use the "add to cart button" to access the free registration (goes live six days before each Garden Club date).
We do ask that participants bring a non-perishable food item for donation. All donations are picked up by the hardworking volunteers at St. Mary's Road United Church, which operates a busy food bank in St. Vital, serving an average of 700 people per month.
About the host: Maggie Wysocki is a passionate plant mama, backyard chicken-keeper and popular gardening educator. She is the creator behind the gorgeous From Soil to Soul blog, as well as co-host of the Grow Guide, Canada's top-ranked gardening podcast!
