Rice, Duborskian (Certified Organic Seeds)

This item may be out of season or currently out of stock. Please check back.

Description: This is actual rice that you can grow in your garden or large pots! The Duborskian variety is a short season selection from eastern Europe, and is classified as an upland rice which grows in regular soil as opposed to flooded paddies. We have grown upland rice for several years at Sage Garden and find it particularly easy going in large pots that can be moved into a sheltered area in fall, as the rice grains mature on the plants over an extended period (but can't be exposed to extreme cold during the finishing). Very attention getting and fun to grow. Heirloom.
