SEA SOIL - available for immediate pick up

Take advantage of COST SAVINGS by purchasing in bulk.  Ideal for gardeners with larger spaces, community groups, schools, market gardeners, and neighbours getting together to save. 

Due to the weight of a pallet (around 2,000 lbs), it is not cost-effective to have bulk Sea Soil delivered locally. 

Please note: Sea Soil pallets are hand loaded on pick-up as we do not have a forklift or pallet jack on site. We are often able to assist with loading pick-ups, but please call ahead (24 hours before) if you require assistance, so that we can plan for a time when lots of staff are available to help. Thanks!

Sea Soil is a tremendously effective soil amendment for gardens, pots, and seed starting! In the simplest terms, Sea Soil makes gardening easier by contributing to all of the major requirements of healthy soil: aeration, water management, nutrients, and beneficial micro-organisms.

At SGH we use Sea Soil in every pot we grow, at concentrations ranging from around 10% to 100%, and also add the compost to our outdoor beds and raised gardens each fall and spring.

32L bags of Sea Soil are generally available in store on a year-round basis (although there have been shortages in recent years).
