Details: What could be better on a January afternoon than immersing yourself in the fragrance and foliage inside our greenhouses while learning how to see plants from a whole new perspective! Join artist and educator Heather Hinam for a fun-focused class where you’ll learn essential skills and develop confidence as a botanical artist. Heather will help participants translate the shapes and textures of nature into beautiful pencil drawings… using live plants from the Sage collection as your models!
This class includes: All materials required to participate (pencils, sketch paper etc) plus the incredible instruction from Heather!
Registration: This class requires pre-registration and has a maximum of 12 spots available. Please use the add to cart button to complete registration.
Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend, the course fee is fully refundable up to 24 hours before the class runs (please email us to let us know if you are unable to attend). If you have to cancel within 24 hours of the class start time, we will offer a credit for the full amount. Once the class has started, there are no refunds or credits.
About the host: Heather Hinam is a naturalist, educator, artist, and interpreter based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She founded Second Nature in 2011 with the goal of sharing nature stories through engaging experiences and interpretation, combining her backgrounds in science, interpretation, and art.
