Description: When used fresh, these mild, heart-shaped peppers with broad shoulders and thick walls are called Poblano. Use them in chili rellenos or for stuffing. When dried, this pepper takes on smoky overtones and is referred to as Ancho. The plants are multi-branching and produce good yields in cool conditions. The almost-black 4” - 6” fruits ripen to green and then mature to red.
