Description: When used fresh, these mild, heart-shaped peppers with broad shoulders and thick walls are called Poblano. Use them in chili Rellenos or for stuffing. When dried, this pepper takes on smoky overtones and is referred to as Ancho. The plants are multi-branching and produce good yields in cool conditions. The almost-black 10 - 15 cm (4” - 6”) fruits ripen to green and then mature to red.

Fertilizing (Garden): Plant in a garden recently amended with compost. Application of Sea Magic© Kelp is beneficial.
Watering (Garden): Water to establish (first two weeks). Once established, water weekly to maximize productivity.
Suitability for Indoors: Not well suited for indoors - may be grown as a specialized crop.
