Description: We love the more saturated, intense colours of this dark mix, which features both solid and contrasting bi-colour blooms. Super easy to grow in both the garden and larger containers. The flowers are edible!

Germination: 7 - 15 days at 21° C.
Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in the early spring when the soil is still cool and light frost is possible. Direct seed 1/8" deep. Can also be sown in the fall just before the ground freezes. Plants will tolerate poor soil. Thin to 6-12" apart.
Spacing: Great for mass planting. Flowering time: June - August.
Fertilizing: Application of Sea Magic™ will encourage strong root-development. 

Special Note: Pre-chill seeds in the refrigerator for 5 days before sowing.

Pruning: Cutting and deadheading flowers will encourage more buds.

Watering (Containers): Water deeply when top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Check every day or two during very hot weather.

Fertilizing (Garden): Plant in a garden bed amended with compost. No additional fertilizer is required.

Watering (Garden): Water new transplants regularly to establish roots. Once established, water deeply as required.
