Botanical Name: Boesenbergia rotunda
Description: This exotic ginger is related to galangal, but has much different "fingers" of carrot-like roots with a sweet ginger aroma and flavour. The whole plant is beautiful when grown in pots, with the potential for large red blooms in winter.
Care: Water plants regularly but take care that they don't sit in water. Rich soil with good drainage is ideal for this plant.
