Description: The deepest red-purple carrot on the market! The core is a contrasting yellow-orange. Sweet flavour mingles with spicy tones.
Interesting fact: Carrots were purple before they were orange! In fact, purple carrots date back thousands of years. Aside from their flavour and beauty, purple carrots are loaded with unique antioxidants called anthocyanins (common to purple fruits and berries; not present in orange carrots). Anthocyanins are associated with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-carcinogenic benefits when consumed regularly.
