Description: A true garden classic that never goes out of fashion! Like all violas, can be used as an edible garnish. Plants are exceedingly free-blooming from spring through late autumn.

Germination: 7 - 14 days at 21° C.
Sowing Indoors: 12 - 14 weeks before last frost date. Sow 2 - 3 seeds per cell or plug. For best results, fertilize right from first watering with a kelp based fertilizer such as Sea Magic™. Seeds germinate best in the dark.
Planting depth: 1/8” deep. Cover lightly with soil.

Pruning: Dead-head flowers regularly to encourage constant reblooming.

Growing in Containers: Excellent choice for pots 6" and up.

Fertilizing (Containers): After transplant, avoid high nitrogen fertilizers in favour of balanced compost - this will encourage better flower set and yield.

Watering (Containers): Water deeply when top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Check every day or two during very hot weather.

Growing in Mixed Planters: Excellent choice for mixed planters.

Fertilizing (Garden): Plant in average garden soil, amended with compost on an annual basis. No additional fertilizing required.

Watering (Garden): Water young plants regularly to establish, then water deeply as conditions require.

Suitability for Indoors: Not well-suited for indoors
