Description: Addictive aroma! An easy to grow, high-impact annual... and did we mention hummingbirds love it! Pure white blooms open in the evening releasing their sweet, honey-like fragrance (reminds us at SGH of Toblerone chocolate!). Plant close to your patio for a delicious effect. Great in pots.

Main Uses: This plant is grown as an ornamental as well as to attract hummingbirds.
Zone Hardiness: Annual
Exposure: Full sun to part shade
Height: 20 - 40 cm
Flower Color: Pure white with purple undersides.
Flowering Time: Late July - August (or until frost)

Germination: 10 - 20 days at 21°C.
Sowing: Indoors 4 - 5 weeks before last frost, 3 - 5 seeds per cell. For best results, apply Sea Magic™ kelp from first watering. Apply a seedling-starter fertilizer such as Evolve Seedling once the second set of true leaves has appeared, and then alternate between the kelp and seedling starter until transplant. Outdoors, direct seed after last frost.
Planting depth: 1/16”, Lightly covered.
Spacing:  6 - 10”.
Planting Out: Well-drained soil once seedlings are established and risk of frost has passed.

Fertilizing (Containers): Use an organic bloom-boost fertilizer once plants start to set buds.

Fertilizing (Garden): Plant in a garden bed amended with compost. No additional fertilizer is required.

Watering (Garden): Water young plants regularly to establish, the water deeply as conditions require.
