May 6, 2019  6:30 - 8:00 pm: "The Challenges (and Solutions)"

Learn about what the research recommends for school gardens. Common challenges such as vandalism, summer care, teacher burnout will be discussed and pared with creative solutions adopted by schools to address these concerns. Find the solutions that fit YOUR school community. Learn to connect the garden with the curriculum, browse garden-based resources and experience some garden activities from our school program. Leave equipped to justify a garden at your school and with a planting project to take home.

Registration now open to all MAME members and is FREE... but pre-registration is required as space is limited to 30 participants per session. This is a four part series, so if you are interested in attending all four be sure to register early for each one, so as not to miss out!

This workshop is being hosted at St. George School, at 151 St George Rd.
