Description: A low-maintenance wildflower with bright pink flower spikes that are very attractive to bees and butterflies. Looks spectacular when planted in large swaths, evoking the wide open spaces where the plant grows naturally. Prefers average to moist soil and can handle short periods of standing water.

Indoors: 5 seeds per starter pot, 6 - 8 weeks before the average last frost date. Note: a minimum 4-week, ideally 8-week, chilling period is required for uniform germination. The seeds can be placed into moist soil in starter pots and then kept in the refrigerator for the chilling period.
Planting out: Plant in loose, fertile soil once all chance of frost has passed.
