These bales sometimes have printed packaging indicating the OMRI organic status and other times a smaller OMRI-status sticker attached to packaging that does not directly indicate organic status. In both cases, the bales are the same OMRI organic medium. 

- Often used to decrease soil pH (increase acidity) for crops such as blueberries, raspberries, potatoes, rhododendrons and other acid-loving plants
