This variant is currently sold out
We are currently taking pre-orders for this cool Monstera, which will be available for pick-up or shipping starting in June 2020. Due to the popularity of this variety, we are opening up pre-orders early so that you don't miss out!
April 2020 Container Size: We will have two options available this spring. The image pictured here reflects the "Regular" option in quart pots (tall round); we will also have a "Younger Crop" size available.
Details: Monstera adansonii aka Swiss Cheese Vine is a classic houseplant that can be grown in hanging pots, on totems or just allowed to wander! Each leaf on the plant has bold cut-outs (fenestration), one of the awesome and unique features on several species of Monstera and Philodendron.
Monstera adansonii prefers a location away from excessive direct sunlight, although it does require a bright location diffused-light location to be at its best. As with all potted plants, we strongly recommend potting into containers with excellent drainage, compost-based potting soil and to fertilize several times per year with all-purpose organic plant food. Foliage plants benefit from regular showering with fast-flowing freshwater... literally, take them for a shower every month or so! Showering removes dust and helps ensure a pest-free growth indoors.
Pre-order Info: Once your order is confirmed we will hold this plant for local pickup on or after the specified pickup date. If you are not able to come to us we can hold your plant for shipping once weather permits, which at this point will be spring 2020.
Shipping Info: We ship live plants via Canada Post Expedited parcel to all locations within Canada. Shipping from Winnipeg takes 2 - 4 days to most areas in BC, AB, SK, MB and ON. Orders going to most locations in QC, NB and NS take 4 days while other parts of Canada and remote destinations can take 5 or more days. Sage Garden cannot guarantee live plants to destinations with a Canada Post declared shipping time of more than 4 days.
Sage Garden normally ships live plants the Monday or Tuesday after orders are received but as noted we are not currently able to ship due to winter conditions. Shipping will resume in May 2020.
Any shipping charges are in addition to the cost of plants and are calculated at check-out. You can view shipping charges before completing your transaction.
Sage Garden ships the same full-sized plants we sell at our local nursery, and we do not offer bare root shipping.
