April 8, 2019 (6:30 - 8:00pm): "The Garden"

Learn about the benefits and drawbacks of different school garden set-ups (e.g. raised beds, in-ground, container, hanging). Learn about how to choose an ideal spot for your garden in your schoolyard and be inspired by multiple examples of themed gardens (medicine wheel, multicultural, 5 senses, etc...) Come for a relaxing evening of learning surrounded by plants. Leave with a deeper understanding of school garden options and a planting project to take home too!

Registration now open to all MAME members and is FREE... but pre-registration is required as space is limited to 30 participants per session. This is a four part series, so if you are interested in attending all four be sure to register early for each one, so as not to miss out!

This workshop is being hosted at St. George School, at 151 St George Rd.
